We found thousands of rusted old cans on the way to the Railroad Construction Camp

We assumed this was some type of water cachment system or storage tank built by the railroad workers.

If you look closely you can make out the words "Blasting Powder"




Ingenuity. The railroad camp was built using the old blasting powder cans stuck together with mortar




I called this a pull up bar but not sure I am correct :-)




Desert girls Linda and Mary




Yellow buds close to blooming on this barrel cactus. This was near Arroyo Tapiado.




In 2-3 weeks this barrel cactus will be putting on an intense display
